Looking back to move forward

Db has made durable gear since 2012. Building things that don't need replacing was one of the ideas the company was founded on, and it's still the most useful thing we do about our footprint. But we didn't start measuring that footprint until 2019. Before then we had a product philosophy and good intentions. We didn't have numbers.

The reports below are what came of that. They cover our greenhouse gas emissions across the whole value chain, conditions in the factories that make our products, water and chemicals, and how the company is governed — reported under the European Sustainability Reporting Standards since 2024, alongside a separate statement each year under the Norwegian Transparency Act.
