Born in Biarritz, France, Juliette Lacome discovered surfing at the age of eight and quickly stood out. By twelve, she had already won her first contest, setting the foundation for a strong competitive career built on discipline and consistency.
After years on the international circuit, injuries and extended time traveling abroad gave Juliette space to reassess her direction. That period led her back to the core of why she started — finding renewed purpose in free surfing and reconnecting with the simple satisfaction of riding waves without competitive pressure.
Today, her surfing reflects that evolution. It’s measured, confident, and rooted in experience. Beyond her own journey, Juliette is passionate about supporting the next generation of women in surfing. Inspired by the mentors who guided her early on, she actively encourages young girls to pursue the sport and build their own paths in the water.
