A gym duffel bag carries clean clothes to the gym and sweaty ones home. Ours carry by hand, across the body or on your back, and the larger ones double as weekend bags.
Three questions decide it.
Where do your shoes go? The Hauler Gym Bag 30L has its own ventilated shoe compartment. In the other duffels, shoes go in a dry bag or a packing cube from our gym bag accessories.
How much do you bring? A normal session fits in 25 to 30 liters. Go for 40 liters if you also carry work clothes or a big towel. Pick 60 liters for a week away or a tournament weekend.
How do you get there? Walking or cycling to the gym? Pick a duffel with backpack straps. Driving or going straight from the office? A crossbody strap and grab handles are enough.

Dirty sneakers and a clean shirt should never share a space. The Hauler Gym Bag 30L gives your shoes a separate, ventilated compartment that takes up to EU size 50. That covers almost any sneaker.
Both Hauler bags have a mesh pocket that wraps around the outside for a water bottle or a gym pass. Inside, both have two drop pockets and a zipped essentials pocket, and each comes with a key clip. The Roamer duffels have a zipped top pocket. The Roamer Duffel Backpack 25L adds a large mesh pocket in the lid and a sleeve for a laptop up to a 16-inch MacBook Pro.
The Roamer Duffel 40L and 60L carry like backpacks, with shoulder straps and a chest strap. On the 60L the straps tuck away, so nothing snags on an airport belt. The Hauler bags use padded handles and an adjustable crossbody strap.
The Hauler bags are made from rugged, face-coated twill reinforced with Rib Cage Technology™. The ribs keep the bag in shape and protect what's in it.
The same bag can go from Tuesday's session to Friday's train. The Roamer Duffel 60L has lockable YKK zippers and opens fully, so you can see everything at once. The Roamer Duffel Backpack 25L packs into its own cover when you're not using it. All three Roamers work with our Hook-Up System™, which clips them onto other Db bags so you carry one unit instead of two.
For sweaty clothes. A roll-top dry bag keeps a damp shirt or a wet towel away from everything else. Our Dry Bag 3-Piece Set gives you 5, 8 and 13 liters to choose from.
For the shower. A toiletry bag with a hanging hook, like the Essential Washbag M, hangs within reach while you shower.
For shoes in a Roamer. The largest cube in our Packing Cube 3-Piece Set has a separate water-resistant compartment for dirty shoes.
The Roamer duffels are made from recycled polyester. The outer fabric is dope-dyed, which means the color goes into the fiber itself rather than being dyed on afterward. The Hauler bags use recycled polyester twill and recycled mesh. The Essential Weekender is made from a coated 900D polyester that resists water. The Hauler bags come with a 2-year warranty, and Db Black membership extends the warranty on eligible products.
A 25- to 30-liter gym duffel bag holds shoes, a change of clothes, a towel and a water bottle for a normal session. A 40-liter bag adds room for work clothes or a bigger towel. A 60-liter duffel suits a week away or a weekend of games and training.

Take sweaty clothes and damp towels out as soon as you get home. Pack wet clothes in a separate dry bag so moisture stays off the rest of the bag. Leave the duffel open to air out between sessions and wash it now and then, following the care label.
Some can. The Db Roamer Duffel 40L and 60L have shoulder straps and a chest strap, and the Roamer Duffel Backpack 25L is built as a backpack-duffel hybrid. The Db Hauler bags are carried by hand or with a crossbody strap.
A gym duffel bag is a soft bag with one large main compartment, carried by handles, a shoulder strap or backpack straps. "Gym bag" is the wider term and also covers totes and backpacks used for training.
