Riders for Refugees

Riders for Refugees is a charity which helps refugees and migrants stay warm in winter by collecting and distributing outdoor wear. It started when Danny Burrows, the editor of Snowboard Magazine, visited the ‘Jungle’ of Calais and witnessed first hand the difficulties refugees in Europe face and seeing that, without help, many would face freezing winter temperatures without adequate equipment. Danny and his team work with outdoor clothing manufacturers to redistribute unsold, outdated and slightly damaged stock to those who need it most.
