Professional Surfer & Environmental Advocate
Pacha Light is an Ecuadorian-Australian professional surfer known for her elegant style in the water and her strong commitment to ocean conservation. Raised by activist parents and named after the Andean earth goddess Pachamama, environmental awareness has been part of her identity from the very beginning.
Competing on the World Qualifying Series (WQS), Pacha balances high-level performance with a deeper purpose. Her surfing is defined by flow, control, and a natural connection to the ocean — qualities that reflect both her competitive focus and her respect for the environments she rides in.
Beyond competition, Pacha is an active voice in environmental advocacy. She partners with organizations such as the Surfrider Foundation and SeaTrees, supporting initiatives centered around coastal protection, reforestation, and ocean health. For her, surfing and stewardship go hand in hand.
Grounded, purposeful, and globally minded, Pacha represents a generation of athletes who see performance and responsibility as inseparable.
